1st VOI Winner Ishmeet Singh Died

Ishmeet Singh winner of of the popular Star TV reality show Voice of India died in Maldives on Tuesday evening.

He drowned in the swiming pool of his hotel Chaaya Island Dhonveli in Maldives.

Ishmeet arrived at Male’ this morning, to perform in the Star Voice of Maldives, shortly to be held on 1st August.

“It is very unfortunate and I came from Gajendra Singh about this incident. I am absolutely shocked,” said the singer Shaan.

Ishmeet Singh, an 18 year old boy from Ludhiyana used to suffer from stage fear in his childhood. The fear was overcome after he sang in front of a huge crowd in the Delhi Audition of Star Voice of India.

He is a true fan of Shaan and considers him as his idol. He also admires A. R. Rehman and his dream is to sing for him.

He was among the top 2 finalists on Star Voice of India and was crowned the winner on November 24, 2007. He was also one of the contestants of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar, a singing competition on Star Plus channel and represented the Champions team. He was eliminated on June 20, 2008.

Zee SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2009 Episode 26th July

The show begins with Aditya, Sayan and Mitika sing Oh Haseena zulfon waali jaane jahaan. There is also an AV of the song that is shown. Aditya greets everyone and wishes Sayan and Mitika. Today is the last day we will get to see Asha tai as we come to end of the first round. Aditya also announces that Shashi from Lakshya gharana and Rashi from Dhoom gharana has got sanjivani bhooti, while the gharana which is not affected is Himesh's Rock gharana.

Zee SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2009 Episode 25th July

The show beings and contestants sing the title song of De Taali. Aditya joins them to continue the song. Aditya welcomes the audience and a recap of the last week is shown. Today the 3rd batalilan will be performing. The mentors are introduced in the usual style. Asha tai is also greeted.

Zee SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2009 Episode 18th July

The show begins with contestants and Aditya singing Rubaroo roshini from Rang de Basanti. The girls sing on mike, while the guys play instruments. Shashi plays drums, guitar and Debojit plays key board. The guys also join them at the end for singing the song. Aditya then recaps on what happened last week..

The four mentors are introduced by Aditya and he also welcomes the Mahaguru Asha Bhosle.

Zee SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2009 Episode 5th July

Aditya begins the show with the song "Sur Hain Bejubaan". He welcomes the audience. At this episode, the Pakistani and overseas contestants will be performing. He also welcomes the mentors of the four gharanas, with their respective tags as in:

The fire brand - Himesh
The energetic - Aadesh
The super sensational - Shankar
The passionate - Pritam

The Pakistani contestants don’t have a gharana as yet. It will decided as the participants will have to pick a envelope which will have the name of a Gharana from a bowl and the mentor of that gharana will pick up the participant he wants.

Zee SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2009 Episode 4th July

The Countdown begins for the show and many cities are shown in a AV where they praise SRGMP and few are also shown singing the title song of SRGMP. Aditya gets down the helicopter and enters a car... There is a red carpet through which he enters into the studio.. He performs on the song Krazy 4 title song. The sets are looking lavishing. This time around, its not only the globe, but also a headphonearound it. Aditya welcomes all the viewers and announces that from today onwards every Friday and Saturday there will be a Sangeeth Vishwayudh.............
