Salman again tried to insult Himesh yesterday,but this time Himesh too fought back and dint take the insult lying down. In the last season too Salman insulted Himesh.
Inka panga kya hai.
Salman seems to hv problems with a lot of guys in the film industry:- Vivek Oberoi, Shahrukh Khan & Himesh etc.
Coming back to the show, i think Vaishali's performance was the best. She sang the "Teri Ore" song quite well. This is one of my favourite songs.
Yashita was also good.
and ur favourite Debojeet (Vodoo) is trying his luck at dancing too. I thought the stage might hv cracked.LOL
I agree with Jatin, Viashali was the best today. Not just in terms of singing, but song selection. Its a beautiful song, very melodious and Shreya's sweet as honey voice is trademark of the song. Vaishali does not have that sweetness but she made it her own. she sang it in her own way and that too in complete sur and taal, expresions were good.
I miss that sweetness in girls like Vaishali,Yashita and pratibha. less said about aasma the better. she WILL BE ELIMIATED NEXT.mark my words. i can see through zee's strategy. she is goona be out at exact same spot as mauli lat year, like a sacrificial offering.
Partibha was awesome with 'hum dil de chuke snam'. what a talent she is. her talafuzz is excellent as she comes from the Hindi belt of M.P. she is a complete package. Yashita was also good more with performance and X factor than singing.
But I miss a sweet voice like anwesha/aishwarya/geetashri. In indian idol bhavya and torsha have very melodious voices. they are among my favourites.

To me, Salman was revealing the truth that Himesh lifted songs of Annu & Annu lifted from others. Himesh admitted that, once he lifted a song of Santana "O priya O priya" on special request from Salman. IMHO, Salman was simply making jokes nothing else but Himesh took it seriously and fell into his own trap. But it's also true, Himesh became very nervous after some of his stone replies to Salman.
According to the performances, you are absolutely right that, Vaishali was simply best but too add along with Yashita, Pratibha & Zaheer.

Mark my word, Asma will not gonna eliminate next week. I am a little scared because of my premonition which says, there is a chance for Aasma to reach in the finale. You can also mark my this word.

remember what had happened in Mauli's case?
Previous week before elimination, she was praised to the roof by one and all.
It was like a Bakra being fattened before it is Halal...ed. LOL
Very same thing is going to happen in the case of Asma.
Us ke upar Asma girne wala hai next week ya bahut to bahut next to next week.
Because Pratibha sang Hum Di De chuke sanam, I have to compare her with a 14 year old girl's singing.

I think u hv missed the point, there is more to what Salman was saying to Himesh. If u remember last time too Salman insulted Himesh, even news channels carried the report.
Some thing is seriously wrong between these two. Its well known that Salman promoted Himesh intitially, but later on they hv fallen out.The reason of this tussle is unknown.
Why is everybody comparing Asma to Mauli, as far as I remember Mauli never tried to act funny. Her singing was also better than Asma.
Though I must add that Asma is showing improvement in her singing these days.
I think judges are OK but some of guys have problem with Debojit because he sings very good. He has unique voice. I am not saying rest participant are no singing good they are good but I have see many comments against Debojit why.... there is any reason.

Comments against Debojit may have been made here when people thought they were warrented.
He has many faults in singing.
He over performs.
He has diction problems inspite of having been repremanded many times, he still is not able to decide if he should pronounce Ra, or Da.
His pitching gets heywire when he gets carried away while performing.
His acts are LOUD while delicering a so called shayari.
Otherwise, he is a gifted singer.

I just wrote that before Mauli was eliminated, she was praised to the sky.
Next week she became history.
This week, Asma became History thrice , so next week she may become a story.

I agree 100% with hemant da. This is aasma' goodbye week for sure. Thr truth is, Zee does not count votes.This year saregama has bene a flop in terms of TRPS'. so they go by their startegy. I am sure aasma cudn't ahve got highest vote sin brahmastar when shahsi,manisha,sunvinder were there.
So now that she has finally got 3 historie, she will be eliminated. Also mitika didn't get lowest votes the week she was eliminated. it was a startegy of Zee, because her mom had spoken out against saregama in an article. zee beats even gajji in corruption
BTW, indian idol is very transparent and nice. When a person of javed akhtar's integrity is there, things are bound to be at least not totally hay wire. i love that show...seriously
sorry guys I watched sa re ga ma pa only for salman. I just wanted to check TRP of that day.

Just chanced upon this blog. Good to get a good review of the show. Of late, I have been following this show rather regularly.
I agree with the views on Debojit. I always thought he was overhyped. He is a good singer, but probably not as good as he is being portrayed as. There are several better performers.
Between, is there any chance we may get to listen to Shashi Suman again? I feel he was a wonderful singer. Have been watching the videos of his songs on Youtube and I feel he definitely deserved to be amongst the top five. How can Zee allow such talented singers to get eliminated and continue with some mediocre ones.
